In tonight’s episode of Coronation Street, Daniel Osbourne’s downward spiral culminates in a shocking showdown at the Barlow house. Is there any coming back from this?

1. Daniel receives a nasty shock

After passing out drunk on the sofa, Daniel is woken up by a call from Bertie’s school, as the teachers want to know why the young lad hasn’t turned up.
Daniel is mortified after sleeping in until 9am and shouts for Bertie to get ready for school. However, he soon realises that the door is wide open and Bertie is nowhere to be seen.
2. Adam’s plan has shocking consequences

As viewers already know, Bertie is safe and well as he’s being looked after by Adam. Adam and Tracy keep watch over Bertie at No.1, both hoping that the shock of his “disappearance” will be the wake-up call that Daniel needs.
Daniel frantically searches the streets for Bertie, fearing that something terrible could have happened to him. When he finds out the truth, though, he’s furious at Adam for kidnapping his son.
3. Ken is caught in the crossfire of Daniel’s fury

Adam’s stunt sparks a huge row at the Barlow house, but he makes no apologies for trying to tackle the issue of Daniel’s irresponsible parenting.
When Daniel lashes out at Adam, he accidentally hits Ken instead and sends him flying. Is this the final straw for Daniel’s family – or are they willing to keep standing by him?
4. David confronts Jodie

David confides in Maria about how Jodie is claiming that he said her name when he mistakenly crawled into bed with her. Maria is amused by David’s predicament, but also points out the growing evidence to suggest that Jodie is a lying troublemaker.
This gives David the confidence to confront Jodie, but could it backfire?
5. Leanne seeks answers from Idris

Leanne is curious when she overhears Brody boasting to Dylan about how well he’s doing financially now that he’s working for Idris.
Unwilling to be caught up in any dodgy activity, Leanne questions her new love interest on the nature of his business deals.
6. Forensic tests reveal a new clue
ITV
Todd’s phone is found in a pawn shop, so Lisa orders it to be sent off to the forensics department.
After going missing on the night of Theo’s murder, how did the device end up there? All could soon be revealed, as the results provide a new lead to investigate…
7. Debbie looks to the future
ITV
Debbie is proud of her ongoing work with the dementia choir, but she’s also aware that she won’t be able to keep leading it forever.
Loyal friend Glenda is touched when Debbie asks her to take over the choir when the time comes.
