Jonas Brothers add Montreal stop to 20th anniversary tour

The Jonas Brothers are giving Montreal fans a reason to feel “Cool.”

The trio has added a new stop at the Bell Centre on Dec. 17 as part of their ‘JONAS20: Greetings From Your Hometown’ tour — a North American trek celebrating 20 years of music, memories and chart-topping pop-rock.

A tour for the ages — and all the eras

Launched in August, the JONAS20 tour has already seen sold-out crowds across Canada and the U.S. The show is structured as a career-spanning setlist — featuring early hits like “Year 3000,” “S.O.S.” and “Burnin’ Up,” alongside solo material from DNCE and Nick Jonas’s solo work, and tracks from their latest album, Greetings From Your Hometown.

Surprise guests and nostalgic throwbacks have been a hallmark of the tour. Appearances from artists like Demi Lovato, All Time Low, and Simple Plan have turned many stops into one-night-only reunions of mid-2000s pop culture.

Now, Montreal is on that list.

Jesse McCartney joins select cities, including Montreal

Singer and actor Jesse McCartney, known for hits like “Beautiful Soul” and “Because You Live,” will appear as a special guest in select cities — including Montreal. His addition comes after crowd-pleasing surprise performances in Boston and New Jersey earlier in the tour.

Montreal added among fan-demanded new dates

The Bell Centre date is one of several just-announced North American stops added “due to incredible fan demand,” according to organizers. Other Canadian cities include Hamilton on Dec. 14 and Ottawa on Dec. 15.

Montreal fans will also be part of a major milestone: this year marks the group’s 20th anniversary. From Disney Channel fame to global tours and Grammy nominations, the Jonas Brothers have stayed at the forefront of pop for two decades — and are still filling arenas.

For those who can’t attend in person, select concerts — including shows from Milwaukee (Oct. 12), Orlando (Oct. 26),and Buffalo (Nov. 9) — will stream globally on Samsung TV Plus.

But for Quebec fans, the Jonas Brothers will bring the hits live to Montreal just before the holidays.

Tickets for the Montreal date go on sale Thursday, Oct. 2 at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster.com.
