French Open 2026 live updates: Women’s semifinals latest with Shnaider, Chwalinska in action after Andreeva wins

Wimbledon champion (1994) and French Open finalist (2000) Conchita Martínez has been working with women’s singles finalist Andreeva since early 2024.

She watched on from the players’ box and when Marion Bartoli, who won Wimbledon in 2013, asked the teenager how their approach would work for the final and if she would ask any question, Andreeva replied:

“I don’t think I’m going to ask any questions. Keep it the same, don’t change anything.”

Martínez seemed to agree.

“She’s nodding, OK,” replied Andreeva.
