Why Love Island’s George has quit the villa, just days after his arrival

Love Island’s George Knight has just quit the villa, after joining the ITV2 reality show just days ago as the first bombshell of the season.
George joined the show at the end of episode one on Monday night, where he and fellow bombshell Yasmin were given a secret mission by host Maya Jama to chose one boy and one girl to dump from the villa the next day.
He’s become a fan favourite already despite his short time in the villa but now an ITV spokesperson has confirmed George has left the show.
“For private reasons, George has left the Love Island villa,” a spokesperson told The Sun.

So far George has not commented for his reason for leaving the show.
George, who is originally from Winchester, has been getting to know Robyn and Mica while in the Villa. During last night’s episode he was seen kissing Robyn on the terrace just minutes after his rather flirty chat with Mica.
At the end of last night’s episode George and Yasmin had to deliver their decision over who they were going to dump from the villa.
The pair revealed after much deliberation they were choosing to dump Ellie and Samraj.
However, while George’s time in the villa may be over, Ellie and Samraj are coming back for more, as rather than being dumped in tonight’s episode we’ll see them return to the show and set up camp in the hideaway!
Love Island continues tonight on ITV2 and ITVX
