Golden Knights’ McNabb exits Game 2 with injury

Defenceman Brayden McNabb exited in the first period of Game 2 against the Carolina Hurricanes and did not return for the second period.
McNabb was injured midway through the opening frame after a shot from Hurricanes forward Nikolas Ehlers hit McNabb on the face. He immediately went down in pain and quickly skated off the ice on his own power.
In 16 playoff games through the Golden Knights’ run, the Davidson, Sask., native has one goal and seven points while averaging 20:53 on ice per game.
McNabb has missed one game this post-season after he was suspended for injuring Anaheim Ducks’ Ryan Poehling in Round 2.
