Nashville Predators claim Tyson Jost off waivers from Hurricanes

The Nashville Predators have claimed forward Tyson Jost after he was placed on waivers by the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday.

The 27-year-old played 39 games with the Huricanes last season, tallying four goals and nine points in 39 games.

He was originally selected 10th overall by the Colorado Avalanche in the 2010 NHL Draft.

Across 495 NHL games with the Hurricanes, Avalanche, Minnesota Wild, and Bufalo Sabres, Jost has 61 goals and 149 points.

The Hurricanes also waived Gavin Bayreuther, Noel Gunler, Josiah Slavin, and Ryan Suzuki but all four cleared and were assigned to the AHL’s Chicago Wolves.
