Stockholm Diamond League 2026: Melissa Jefferson-Wooden storms to victory in her first 100m race of the year

World champion Melissa Jefferson-Wooden stormed to victory in her first 100m race of the season at the Stockholm Diamond League on Sunday (7 June).
After being beaten by Julien Alfred in the 200m in Rome on Thursday, U.S. athletics star Jefferson-Wooden was back to winning ways at the Bauhaus-Galan in a time of 10.84 seconds.
Great Britain’s Amy Hunt broke the 11-second barrier for the first time in her career to finish second in 10.97, ahead of Patrizia van der Weken of Luxembourg, who was third in 11.05.
Dina Asher-Smith finished sixth in 11.24 at the Stockholm Olympic Stadium, the fifth meeting of the 2026 Wanda Diamond League.
