Entertain This!
Mel Owens’ journey to find love continues on “The Golden Bachelor” Season 2.
During the premiere, which aired Sept. 24, Owens met the 23 women who would be vying for his heart over the next few weeks. He took one lady on a one-on-one date aboard the Queen Mary. Then, the rest of the women participated in a cheerleading competition judged by celebrity guest Paula Abdul with help from the Los Angeles Rams Cheerleaders. Finally, there was a pool party before the first rose ceremony, which sent 10 women home.
During the new episode, 12 women will take the stage at the Bellwether Theater for a comedy roast co-hosted by comedian Jared Freid. The funniest lady will earn a one-on-one dinner with Owens. Next, one woman will go on a culinary adventure with Mel at Hollywood’s Petit Trois, including a private cooking lesson with Michelin-starred chef Ludo Lefebvre. Finally, Kathy and Susan from “The Golden Bachelor” season one, will host a slumber party with the women that includes matching PJs, spicy truth or dare and advice that could change everything.
