Reported reason why WWE changed Money in the Bank date

The first reports have emerged as to why WWE moved the date for this year’s Money in the Bank.
According to Fightful Select, the date was changed due to a scheduling conflict with broadcast partners after being internally discussed for the past month with key figures in the company notified of the revision.
Our Bryan Alvarez said that, “I was told the MITB issue had more to do with the touring schedule and the production trucks would be too far away to do the PLE that day, so they moved it.”
The show was initially set for August 29 and was then moved to September 6 before eventually landing on October 10 at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans. Ticket sales for the general public will begin on July 10 (Friday).
The city has had quite a ride with WWE over the past few years after initially being announced to host WrestleMania 42 this past April before it was moved to Las Vegas for the second consecutive year.
