Joshua Jackson was seen enjoying a day out with model Olivia Burgess, sparking questions about his relationship status. The actor and model were spotted holding hands as they strolled through the city on June 7. Jackson has been in the city for the press tour of his upcoming film, Happy Hours, which sees him reuniting with his former Dawson’s Creek co-star and ex, Katie Holmes.

In photos obtained by TMZ, Jackson and Burgess smiled as they walked through the streets of New York. Jackson wore a summery all-white ensemble, pairing a white shirt with cream pants and black sneakers. Meanwhile, the model wore a black tank top, a gray knee-length skirt, and loafers.

In her work as a model, Burgess has appeared on the runway for the likes of Jean Paul Gaultier, Chromat, and Agent Provocateur. Another claim to fame is that she danced alongside Beyoncé at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards for her performance of “Love on Top,” per Us Weekly.

Jackson and Holmes, who played fan-favorite couple Joey and Pacey, dated briefly when they were filming the first season of Dawson’s Creek in the ’90s. “I fell in love, I had my first love, and it was something so incredible and indescribable that I will treasure it always,” Homles once told Rolling Stone of their brief relationship. “And that I feel so fortunate because he’s now one of my best friends. He’s been in the business so long, and he’s really helped me. I respect him as a friend and as a professional.”

Although their reunion in Happy Hours sparked a few romance rumors, the pair remain friends. For Holmes, who not only stars in Happy Hours but also directed the project, working with her friend again 25 years later has been a dream come true. “It’s like a shorthand that we quickly realize still exists,” she said to Variety. “We’ve always done well working off one another. He directs me and I direct him without us even mentioning it.”
