Here’s How To Watch The FIFA World Cup, In English Or Spanish

If you’re a World Cup fan, you will be in seventh heaven for the next six weeks.

That’s because every one of the 104 2026 FIFA World Cup match will be televised and available on multiple platforms over 39 days, starting on June 11.

In fact, it will be easier than ever to take in the action of the FIFA 2026 World Cup, whether you will be watching on TV, computer or phone.

Every game of the competition will be available on multiple devices – in England and Spanish – to the American public, on several FOX Sports platforms, and on Telemundo and Peacock.

That includes various devices and two languages – English and Spanish – on several FOX Sports platforms, and on Telemundo and Peacock.

With so many options available for the American public, it certainly won’t be surprising if this tournament will set records for World Cup viewership, given how the sport has grown over the decades in the United States and the record number of matches of the competition. The USA is co-hosting the extravaganza along with Mexico and Canada, the first time three countries are welcoming the world.

The 39-day tournament kicks off when Mexico hosts South Africa at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City on Thursday, June 11 and concludes with the final at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. on Sunday, July 19.

Here is what you need to know about watching the tournament:

For the English-speaking audience, FOX Sports will have coverage of all 104 matches on its various platforms.

A record 70 games will be on broadcast TV, as all 104 contests will be available on FOX’s various platforms. FS1 will televise 34 matches. Every game also will stream live on FOX One and the FOX Sports App. Tubi, the Fox Corp.’s ad-supported streaming service, will simulcast live in 4K for no charge for the first two big matches. That includes Mexico vs. South Africa in Estadio Azteca on June 11, and the U.S. vs. Paraguay in Inglewood, Calif. on June 12.

FOX Sports CEO and executive producer Eric Shanks said that this World Cup will be “the biggest production in our company’s 32-year history.”

“The largest World Cup ever means this is going to be a television event unlike any other with more teams, superstars, storylines and moments that will captivate audiences everywhere,” he added.

John Strong and former U.S. international Stu Holden will work the USA matches as lead announcer and analyst, respectively.

Due to the size and scope of the competition – four matches will be televised a day during the group stage – FOX will deploy nine announcing teams.

Here are the other eight pairings (play-by-play announcer listed first and match analyst, second):

FOX also will have an array of announcers and shows to bring viewers around the clock coverage from pre-game shows, analysis before and after games, and at halftime, to break down what is transpiring on the field.

In fact, you could put together an all-star team of studio announcers on what they accomplished for club and country in their glorious careers.

In alphabetical order, they include Alexi Lalas (USA), Carli Lloyd (USA), Clarence Seedorf (Netherlands), Clint Dempsey (USA), Javier “Chicharito” Hernández (Mexico), John Obi Mikel (Nigeria), Juan Pablo Ángel (Colombia), Landon Donovan (USA), Peter Schmeichel (Denmark), Thiago Alcantara (Spain), Thierry Henry (France) and Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Sweden).

The ever-charismatic Ibrahimovic, who was never shy to speak his mind when he was a standout player for Sweden or his club teams, should be an entertaining listen.

Alex Aljoe, Geoff Shreeves, Jenny Taft, Katie Shanahan, Natalie Gedra and Tom Rinaldi are reporters, while Dr. Joe Machnik and Mark Clattenburg are the rules analysts.

Telemundo and Peacock will televise the 2026 World Cup for its Spanish-language audience.

The Spanish-speaking audience will have plenty to watch as well, as Telemundo and Peacock will have that covered and then some, with more than 700 hours of programming.

Telemundo and Universo will broadcast all 104 matches live, the most World Cup coverage by a U.S. broadcast network, regardless of the language.

All games also will stream live on Peacock for Premium and Premier Plus subscribers, and on the Telemundo App.

Telemundo will have nine play-by-play and color commentator teams and more than 20 reporters across the three host countries – Canada, Mexico and the U.S.

“We are offering the most comprehensive Spanish-language World Cup experience ever produced in the United States,” Joaquin Duro, executive vice president of sports and head of streaming at Telemundo, said in a statement, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Jose Luis Lopez Salido and Jorge Calvo will call the World Cup opener, along with former Mexican international standout Andres Guardado, between Mexico and South Africa on June 11, supported by Andrés Guardado as part of Telemundo’s comprehensive Mexico coverage team.

Andres Cantor, best known for his Goooool! calls, and Omar Zeron will announce of the U.S. opening match against Paraguay on June 12. Luis Omar Tapia and Diego Balado will headline several group stage contests, including Portugal-Democratic Republic of the Congo, Brazil- Haiti and USA-Türkiye.

Brazilian World Cup champion Dunga and former Paraguayan international Roque Santa Cruz also will contribute their analyzes.

Telemundo’s coverage will include a live social Watch Party experience across YouTube, TikTok and X, featuring influencers and commentators from Telemundo Center in Miami.

At the end of each match day, Telemundo will televise Copa Mundial After Dark, a 30-minute digital social show streaming across TikTok, YouTube and X. The show, created for Gen-Z audiences, will recap the day’s biggest moments and most intriguing storylines. Pamela Munoz, Carlos Reynoso, Lucas Terenqui and Paz Zubiri are the hosts.

And for the fans who will be driving or don’t have a phone or computer handy, you still can follow the games, listening to matches on the radio, whether it on iHeart radio or SiriusXM.

FOX Sports’ TV commentary teams can be heard on the iHeartRadio app, which is available on more than 500 platforms and 2,000 devices, and on SiriusXM (Channel 83).
