Andy Cohen reveals Jennifer Lawrence was the Bravo fan who figured out how the ‘Summer House’ reunion leaked

Key Points

  • On WWHL after the Summer House reunion, host Andy Cohen unveiled the identity of the fan who “cracked the case” and helped Bravo find the culprit of the leaked reunion audio that circulated online.

  • It turns out actress Jennifer Lawrence played a major role.

  • The leak marked the first ever of its kind from the hit network.

The mystery of the “Bravo super fan” who helped find the culprit behind the leaked audio from Summer House’s season 10 reunion has been solved.

“There’s been a lot of speculation about who that super fan was, including the wild theory that it was actress Jennifer Lawrence,” Andy Cohen said on Watch What Happens Live on Tuesday night. “I wanted to personally thank that super fan. Folks, that super fan was indeed Jennifer Lawrence. … Her online sleuthing helped our team solve this mystery. “

Lawrence has been a longtime Bravo fan, often appearing on WWHL to share her opinions on Housewives, Summer House, Vanderpump Rules and more.

After the third and final installment of Bravo’s three-part reunion special for the reality series, host Andy Cohen unveiled the identity of the network fan who helped conclude the investigation into the leaked audio footage from part one of the Summer House reunion that began circulating online in late April. The leak marked the first ever of its kind from the hit network.

Tuesday marked the end of one of the most highly anticipated events of the reality TV franchise after Summer House stars Amanda Batula and West Wilson shocked their costars with the confirmation of their rumored romance on March 31. Batula was best friends with Wilson’s ex, Ciara Miller, and Wilson was close with Kyle Cooke, to whom Batula had been married for four years before they announced their split in January.

The leaked audio, which surfaced online in several parts, featured a heated back-and-forth between various cast members and the newly public couple, who are noticeably on the defensive as their controversial relationship is put through the wringer.

When the reunion actually began airing in May, fans theorized that the audio had been leaked to prevent Batula from getting a seemingly sympathetic edit.

“So they had investigators and they had…people analyzing what kind of device recorded [the audio],” Cohen said while discussing the investigation during an episode of his Radio Andy podcast. “And all I can tell you — and you will hear more about this later — but a Bravo fan came forward,” Cohen went on, in part. “A Bravo fan, who you’re gonna hear more about, cracked the case. [They] delivered crucial information.”

While Bravo didn’t share any information on who helped them uncover the truth of the audio at the time, the network’s statement confirmed that their investigation was over.

“An investigation into the recent leak of the Summer House reunion audio has concluded that the audio was an unauthorized recording and distributed by an individual involved in the production of the reunion,” the statement shared on Instagram reads. “As a result of the findings, appropriate action has been taken. There is no evidence that any member of the cast was involved in the recording of the audio.”

In the weeks following news of Batula and Wilson’s relationship bombshell, cameras picked up to capture the aftermath for the Summer House spinoff, In the City.

The series, which features Bravo stars Batula, Cooke, Lindsay Hubbard, Danielle Olivera, and their friends, premiered following the season 10 finale of Summer House and mostly takes place seven months earlier and will follow the group through November 2025.

Cooke and Batula filmed a new scene on April 9 to provide insight into how the new coupling changed the dynamics between the former couple, and the effects of the massive betrayal — especially as Wilson and Miller had been finally getting on good terms (and even making out) in the aforementioned Summer House season 10 finale.

“I know you’re not a bad person. I think you were reckless and thoughtless, if I’m being honest,” Cooke tells his ex-wife in the scene, before alluding to her relationship with Wilson. “It just makes me so f—ing upset that someone else gets the version that I fell in love with.”
