Rainbet Becomes Slot Sponsor on Kick

In what has been a hugely busy few months for the Kick streaming platform — which included starting to test adverts — Rainbet has now been confirmed as a sponsor of the slot vertical.

Following an
initial backlash over ads, Kick co-founder Eddie Craven called adverts “inevitable” after roughly four years of the platform keeping the user experience clean. The livestreaming platform then saw one of its
first ads on Mizkif’s stream.

This has all meant that 2026 for Kick has so far been marked by changes, and Rainbet has now become the first casino after Stake to officially become a Kick partner, in a move that could have far-reaching consequences for how the platform operates.

This partnership is specifically linked to the gambling niche, which isn’t surprising given
Rainbet’s
business model. However, what is surprising is Kick apparently distancing itself from Stake and
allowing a third-party casino to sponsor gambling streaming on the platform. If implemented properly, this could allow Kick to become a neutral spot where multiple brands can join as a collective. As the X post below shows, this move could well see other casinos do likewise.

These sponsorships can be mutually beneficial for both Kick and other gambling platforms. Rainbet isn’t just a brand that wants to promote its platform; instead, it is joining Kick in the most concentrated niche — slots.
This may push creators to use Rainbet and stream on Kick, increasing numbers for both platforms.
Craven had recently talked about not incentivizing gambling broadcasts, which makes this move all the more interesting.

Kick’s relationship with Stake has also been a point of contention for many, with the livestreaming platforms being criticized for promoting gambling and attracting new players. This move, however, essentially makes Kick the sponsored entity, rather than the livestreaming platform paying casino streamers for exposure. While not entirely a new system, it
does reduce the exclusivity of Stake, allowing competing platforms to invest money in Kick to get exposure.

This unexpected alignment of Rainbet with Kick has piqued viewers’ interest, as it appears to debunk the idea that the platform is merely a marketing front for Stake. However, some have started to speculate that there may be more going on behind the scenes.

This speculation is based on a previous rumor that suggests that Stake and Rainbet may be linked, something
Eddie Craven denied
with strong words earlier this year. Despite this, Rainbet gave a shoutout to Kick and Eddie Craven in an X post for letting everyone compete fairly.

This sponsorship isn’t just a milestone for Kick, as Rainbet is also broadening its horizons. The casino has previously sponsored creators, like Adin Ross, with many of
his greatest wins
being made on the platform.

Longer-term, it will be interesting to see if other
crypto casinos
opt to join Rainbet in sponsoring Kick categories — this is a move for the platform that could radically change how it is funded.
