The Rams and 49ers will face off in a pivotal Week 5 showdown Thursday night.
The winner of this game will take sole possession at the top of the NFC West, as both teams enter the game 3-1.
Los Angeles is coming off a big win in Week 4 thanks to an 88-yard touchdown strike from Matthew Stafford to Tutu Atwell late in the game. San Francisco couldn’t muster a fourth-quarter comeback against Jacksonville and lost its first game of the 2025 season.
The Rams also enter the game very healthy; the team will have its full complement of players, including Stafford, receivers Davante Adams and Puka Nacua, running back Kyren Williams and their entire defensive line.
The 49ers, on the other hand, are very injured. Quarterback Brock Purdy and receiver Ricky Pearsall are both questionable with injuries; receiver Jauan Jennings is still hurt; and tight end George Kittle is still on injured reserve. A lot will be riding on star running back Christian McCaffrey in this one.
