Service disruptions on STM’s blue line, REM’s Deux-Montagnes line

A couple of public transit disruptions were affecting the morning commute in the Greater Montreal area Thursday morning.
REM said its service is back to normal after a slowdown affected the whole network for nearly an hour. Earlier Thursday morning, a slowdown affected commuters on the Deux-Montagnes and Brossard line and frequencies were reduced for several hours.
In a statement to CityNews, REM’s operator Pulsar said, “A technical issue occurred this morning in the train loading area, which reduced the number of trains available.”
Pulsar added that the service was never interrupted and travel was possible despite the slowdown.
