Actor and author Henry Winkler returns to PS 87 to talk about dreaming big

“The Fonz,” Henry Winkler, returned to his roots Monday on the Upper West Side.

UPPER WEST SIDE, Manhattan (WABC) — “The Fonz” returned to his roots Monday on the Upper West Side.

Actor and author Henry Winkler spoke to children at PS 87, the same elementary school he attended.

Winkler rose to fame as Arthur Fonzarelli on the show “Happy Days.”

Now, he’s written dozens of children’s books, and on Monday, he and his co-author spoke about their writing process together and about having big dreams.

Winkler has been open with his learning struggles, and has even written a book series with a main character who struggles as well.
