Tommy Fury beats Eddie Hall by decision in Misfits main event

There were no big surprises in the Misfits Boxing main event from Manchester, where Tommy Fury won a majority decision over Eddie Hall.
One judge scored the fight even, 57-57, overruled by cards of 58-56 and 59-56 for Fury.
The six-round fight didn’t feature much by way of clean punching or ebb and flow, but Fury was definitely the better boxer of the two, despite the solid effort of non-boxer Hall, a likable and popular former Strongman champion.
Fury mostly kept a jaunty step around the edges of the squared circle, working to Hall’s left to avoid what figured to be Eddie’s only real weapon, an overhand right. Hall got close enough to landing that you can say he landed a few of those right hands, but none of them came in flush or anything, and once the fatigue started to set in on the 325 lb “Beast,” Fury was able to pick-and-peck his way to a pretty clear victory.
