Emma Raducanu will be aiming to bag the second Grand Slam title of her career at Wimbledon this summer.
The British number one has never progressed beyond the fourth round of the most famous tournament in tennis, but will feel confident of going deeper this time around.
Having won the US Open in 2021, Raducanu is already one of the most recognisable names in the game.
Today, she is in the final at Queen’s, where she’ll be facing off against Croatia’s Donna Vekic, who beat British number three Katie Boulter in straight sets to book her own place. You can read more about that here – including how to watch.
But as well as her exploits on the court, her personal life has, on occasion, attracted just as much attention.
Split from billionaire boyfriend
In 2023, Raducanu was believed to be dating Carlo Agostinelli, the son of Robert Agostinelli, a business magnate, co-owner and chairman of private equity house Rhone Group.
The pair’s relationship became public when they were photographed taking in Paris Fashion week together, but 12 months later the relationship had seemingly run its course.
In a somewhat brutal move, Raducanu even reportedly blocked Agostinelli on social media.
The Carlos Alcaraz rumours
Raducanu has faced a fair amount of speculation around Spanish star Carlos Alcaraz ever since the pair played alongside each other at the US Open in 2025.
However, she has always insisted the duo are merely very close friends, although Alcaraz’s admission that he was seeking a romantic partner in 2024 fed further rumours otherwise.
“I am looking for someone,” Alcaraz said at the time. “It can be difficult as a tennis player to meet the right person because you are travelling all the time.”

Yet Raducanu dismissed the speculation.
“It is nice and I think, for all of us, we really value those connections that we had from when we were young,” she said.
“Because when you become a bit more known or a bit more successful, you just find yourself reverting back to people you knew from a young age and because that’s a real genuine connection, because it becomes very busy and you have a lot more friends – but the ones that you’ve known for a long time mean a lot more to you.
“I remember he beat Stef [Tsitsipas] in the third round and it was like a big win, his breakout win on a big stage and it was really cool to kind of go through that tournament together. We have a good relationship still. He’s obviously overtaken me a lot, but it’s nice we have that from a while ago.”
The ‘terrible’ question
Fellow Brit Cameron Norrie has also been a rumoured love interest, although he was swift to deny the pair were a couple
In a press conference during Wimbledon, Norrie was asked directly whether he was dating Raducanu, with a visibly perplexed Norrie, who is in a long-term relationship with girlfriend Louise Jacobi, responding: “Sorry?!”
The reporter then added: “I am trying to find out who is dating Emma Raducanu. It seems to be a question circulating among all the men’s singles… I was wondering if you’re dating her, please?”
A visibly uncomfortable Norrie then responded: “I’m not, no. You can ask her. I don’t know.”
Reacting to the awkward exchange, Raducanu laughed before commenting: “That was terrible, terrible.”
Reflecting on the ongoing speculation around her romantic relationships, the 23-year-old added: “I know, I know. I guess I’m like, it comes with the territory, people being so curious. I think they’re more curious about this news than any tennis results and tennis news.
“But I just keep myself to myself, my private life to one side. It’s always funny when people try to find something out, but I try not to read into it so much.”
