Hundreds of thousands of mac and cheese products sold nationwide recalled

CINCINNATI (WKRC) – Hundreds of thousands of mac and cheese products were recalled after being sold nationwide.

According to a recall enforcement report from the Food and Drug Administration, a mac and cheese product sold at Aldi grocery stores nationwide was recalled because the product did not declare soy lecithin as an allergen, despite containing it.

The recall said over 58,000 cases of product were recalled, each containing 9 products.

The specific product affected was “Park St. Deli Macaroni & Cheese, NET WT 20 OZ (1 LB 4 OZ) 567g.”
