South Loop backs up as fans head to Houston’s World Cup match

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Houston’s traffic has now met World Cup traffic.

TranStar cameras showed major backups along the South Loop at Fannin, hours before Sunday’s match kicks off at 12 p.m.

By 8:30 a.m., the back-ups had cleared.
