Quiz is poised to shut its remaining 37 stores across the UK following the firm’s plunge into administration. The company fell into administration on February 5 for the second time in under a year and is now destined to vanish from the high street.
Quiz announced it was going to shut its remaining 37 stores by the end of June back in May after hiring administrators from advisory firm Interpath in February. They said the chain had been suffering a “tough start” to 2026. Administrators Alistair McAlinden and Geoff Jacobs of Interpath Advisory are currently managing the closure process.
Quiz did not confirm how many workers will be impacted by the closures. More than 100 head office and warehouse jobs were put at risk when it entered administration.

It marked the second time Quiz had fallen into administration in a year, having collapsed in February 2025 before immediately being bought in a so-called pre-pack deal by a subsidiary of the founding Ramzan family.
Today (June 14) will witness the closure of the Basingstoke branch at Festival Place, with an additional four branches due to close this weekend.
The Carlisle and Eastbourne outlets are set to close their doors at midday on June 14, reports Birmingham Live. The Watford store is slated to close on June 16, followed by Clydebank on June 17 and Irvine on June 19.
