Scotland striker Lyndon Dykes on what feels different about the squad at this tournament: “Experience. Tournament football is very different.
“You need to win points and games to stay in, but after the experiences of the last few Euros, the manager has come in a bit more relaxed.
“We’ve had down days and he’s been a bit calmer.
“We’ve had youngsters come in, who haven’t been in the squad very long, but it doesn’t feel like they’re new. They’ve taken it with both hands and we’ve eased them in.
“The whole squad has learned and gelled a little bit more coming into this tournament. Knowing it’s going to be tough and relentless, but the experience in the squad and previous tournaments is definitely helping.”
