Barry Moore, the Trump-endorsed congressman who won the Republican Senate primary runoff in Alabama, said in an interview that his victory over Jared Hudson was a “credit” to the influence of President Trump. “I can’t tell you how many people I walked up to, especially older people from Alabama, and they said, ‘If the president’s with you, we’re with you,’” Moore said. “And I didn’t even have to tell them anything. They just said, ’If the president endorsed you, we’re with you.’ No doubt, in the state of Alabama, they love Donald Trump.”
