The couple’s split came months before their 10-year wedding anniversary.
Bunnie Xo says her marriage to Jelly Roll is ending “on the best possible terms” — especially because of what she’ll receive as the divorce is finalized.
During Thursday’s episode of her Dumb Blonde Podcast, Bunnie Xo revealed how well things are going in her divorce settlement with the country singer, as well as some major real estate she’ll be left with.
After Jelly Roll filed for divorce from the podcaster on May 18, citing irreconcilable differences, Bunnie Xo says the two were able to settle the terms of the divorce in a few weeks, which even stunned their lawyers.
“I joke around with him like, ‘Well you didn’t take care of me in the marriage, but you’re taking care of me in the divorce,'” Bunnie Xo said, adding that she’s aware the two are an “unconventional couple” as they’re also still planning on having a child together.
As for what she’ll take away from the marriage, Bunnie Xo said she’s receiving a “dream house” the two were building together over the past year.

“So J and I have been building our dream house. We bought a compound and we’ve been building our dream house for the past year,” Bunnie Xo explained. “J is so f—ing sweet that he’s giving me that compound in the divorce because he knows how special it is to me.”
Bunnie Xo said the compound currently has three houses, and she plans to give one to her manager and hairstylist, Mimi Shahan. Another house will be built for her close friend Hailee Clark, who is a Nashville-based celebrity makeup artist and content creator.
While not disclosing how much land the compound has, the podcaster said all of her animals will be relocated there. Both Bunnie Xo and Jelly Roll have run a massive Tennessee homestead and animal sanctuary, which has included Scottish Highland cows, full-sized and miniature horses, donkeys, pigs, goats, sheep, and chickens.
“We’re all just moving in together on this compound,” Bunnie Xo continued, adding that she feels “so powerful and so inspired to just live life.”

“On Mother’s Day, we had a little bit of an argument, which I don’t think the details are necessary,” she said. “And, in that argument, I was so fed up and so tired that I just looked at him and said, ‘Well, then file the f—king divorce papers.'”
The date of separation for the former couple is listed as May 9, with Jelly Roll, whose real name is Jason DeFord, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for divorce from Bunnie Xo, who was born Alisa Andrea Carter.
