The Socceroos will be determined to bounce back against the South Americans at the San Francisco Bay Area Stadium, knowing a win, and likely draw will guarantee their passage to the Round of 32.
Australia won their opening match 2-0 to Türkiye in Vancouver before falling 2-0 to the United States in Seattle.
The Aussies and Paraguayans will meet for the sixth time in their history and first at the major tournament. The green and gold lead the head-to-head record with two wins and three draws.
