Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes def. Gunther
19:10
The epic Undisputed WWE Championship Match between Cody Rhodes and Gunther ended in controversial fashion as Special Guest Referee Sami Zayn inserted himself into the action.
The Ring General was dominant early, taking advantage of a mistake from Zayn to brutalize the champion, even locking in a very disrespectful Figure-Four Leglock that nearly forced Rhodes to submit.
The American Nightmare fired back with a Cross Rhodes, but Gunther got his foot under the bottom rope, forcing Zayn to break the pinfall.
An ensuing argument nearly spelled doom for Rhodes as Zayn shoved him right into a Guillotine submission, which nearly ended the bout.
Zayn continued to struggle maintaining order, causing Gunther to snap and hit him with a Powerbomb.
A new official ran down, but Zayn took him out and cost Gunther with a quick count and allow The American Nightmare to retain the Undisputed WWE Title.
Sami Zayn meddled in Cody Rhodes vs. Gunther AGAIN!

Rhodes refused for the match to end in that fashion and demanded they restart it, but Zayn once again interfered and laid out both Superstars.
WWE Tag Team Champions Damian Priest and R-Truth def. The MFTs
03:07
Damian Priest and R-Truth are still the WWE Tag Team Champions thanks to a significant error from Solo Sikoa.
Talla Tonga matched the massive Priest as the two exchanged vicious blows, but the champions gained an early advantage thanks to a Five-Knuckle Shuffle from Truth.
That momentum faded quickly as Tama Tonga proceeded to brutalize Truth, who caught a massive boot from Talla.
Out of nowhere, Sikoa appeared at ringside to cheer on The MFTs, but he mistakenly distracted Talla.
That lapse in judgment allowed Truth to roll up Tama to score the win, leaving The MFTs questioning the plan.
Ricky Saints def. Carmelo Hayes | United States Championship No. 1 Contender’s Match
03:20
Ricky Saints punched his ticket to Night of Champions by defeating Carmelo Hayes to become the No. 1 Contender to the United States Championship.
The two Superstars were evenly matched early, executing expert counters on each other’s signature moves, highlighted by Hayes’ incredible springboard DDT.
The turnbuckle padding came off during an exchange, and Saints used it to his advantage by crushing Hayes into it head-first before rolling up his limp body for the win.
Jey Uso def. Je’Von Evans | King of the Ring Tournament Semifinal Match
03:23
YEET!
Jey Uso is headed to Night of Champions to face Oba Femi in the King of the Ring Final after defeating Je’Von Evans in a thrilling matchup.
Due to the unbelievable Spear from Bron Breakker on Monday Night, Evans’ ribs were already compromised, and Uso took advantage by stomping on them every chance he got.
Evans defied Uso and continued to use his aerial maneuvers, but the assault resumed with a Superkick and Spear to the ribs. However, it wasn’t enough to put down The Young OG.
Uso countered the OG Cutter and hit a key Spear, setting up an Uso Splash that finally won the match.
Liv Morgan def. Charlotte Flair | Queen of the Ring Tournament Semifinal Match
03:06
Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan conquered Charlotte Flair to secure her spot in the Queen of the Ring Tournament Final.
Flair was the victim of a brutal pre-match attack led by Jade Cargill, forcing The Queen to compete at far from 100 percent. Flair’s injury was compounded by an uncalled cheap shot from Morgan before the bell.
The Queen fought valiantly, but her injury was too much to overcome as Morgan hit Oblivion to advance to Night of Champions.
