Fans took to social media to express dismay and organisers were initially panicked.
But the club has told CODE Sports Williamson will definitely play in tonight’s blockbuster at John Cain Arena.
“Zion is available to play, that information on the NBA app is inaccurate,” a club spokesman said.
The 15,000-plus fans, NBL, NBA, state government and the entire basketball community can all take a collective sigh of relief.
