Live updates: Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs sentencing

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ legal team has released a documentary-style video at the eleventh hour they hope to show the court ahead of the his sentencing today.
The video appears to be an effort to show the court the positive impact Combs has had during his life. It includes a montage of clips of Combs over the years showing his work with charity, youth engagement programs, giving motivational speeches about his upbringing and ascent into hip-hop, and taking care of his children after the death of his partner, Kim Porter.
It comes hours after Combs submitted a four-page letter showing remorse to the judge and taking accountability for his actions, which was the first time Combs had apologized at length in the nearly two years since he has been accused.
The video and Combs’ letter submitted ahead of the sentencing stand in stark contrast to continuous efforts by his defense, who have repeatedly stated Combs is not guilty, has been wrongfully accused, wrongfully charged and was targeted unfairly by the government.
