Jump into the action in Jeddah

After pre-season testing in Jarama (16-20 November), the fight for the World Championship begins in earnest on 18-19 December with an electrifying double-header of night races in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

This will mark the first time since Formula E’s 2021/22 calendar that Saudi Arabia has hosted the season opener, the high-speed circuit providing the perfect backdrop under the floodlights for the competitive debut of the groundbreaking GEN4.

A visit to the Lone Star State

One of three new additions to the calendar that Formula E fans can look forward to in 2027 is the Circuit of The Americas (COTA). Most motorsport fans will already be familiar with the track, having been a regular fixture on the Formula 1 calendar since 2012, and having recently joined the FIA World Endurance Championship’s (WEC) line-up of races.

COTA is the first of two visits to the United States in February, cementing a massive month for American Formula E fans, with the all-electric championship returning to Miami a fortnight after its Texan debut.

A European takeover

May signals the start of an exhilarating, 10-round European leg spanning five countries. Returning events Berlin and Monaco kick things off, racing on back-to-back weekends for the first time in Formula E history.

From there, the paddock heads into uncharted territory with two brand new venues!

The legendary Brands Hatch circuit, situated in Kent – 30 minutes outside London – welcomes Formula E for the first time – continuing the long and storied history of Formula E racing in the United Kingdom. Afterwards, we head to the seaside Zandvoort circuit just outside Amsterdam for the Championship’s inaugural race in the Netherlands.

A return to the Spanish capital, Madrid, completes the European leg of the calendar, before we head to China for the penultimate race weekend of the season.

The checkered flag falls in Tokyo

Completing the calendar in style on July 24 and 25, Tokyo will host the 2026/27 season finale for the first time ever – a double-header of night races. Having hosted its inaugural race in 2024, the Tokyo E-Prix has become an instant classic with Formula E fans, bringing street racing back to the Japanese capital for the first time in decades.
