Overall, it’s a relatively quiet day, astrologically speaking. But disagreements and miscommunications could pop up mid-afternoon, as the Libra moon squares off with Mercury in Cancer. You may also find that outwardly, everything is peaceful and harmonious, but inwardly, you’re struggling to navigate conflicting thoughts and feelings. Either way, try not to turn your own moodiness into everyone else’s problem. Dealing with genuine conflicts that arise is one thing, but arbitrarily creating fresh conflict won’t lead anywhere good.

Sometimes, it doesn’t seem worth it to tell others how you’re really feeling. Maybe you can’t find the right words, or maybe you just know that your bad mood will pass on its own, so there’s no point in examining it. You’re not obligated to share every thought and emotion with the people around you — just remember that if you keep things to yourself, you can’t expect others to know what’s going on with you. Your friends aren’t mind readers; if you want them to know how you’re feeling, you have to tell them.

You’re likely to learn a lot about the people around you, today. You might see new sides of old friends; they could behave in ways that surprise you or you might learn about experiences or opinions you didn’t know they had. The best thing for you to do right now is simply listen and observe without rushing to judgment. You might think you have the people in your life all figured out, but if you can take a step back and not assume you know everything, you’ll discover something new.

The more you think about the trajectory of your life, today, the more stressed you’re likely to get. Even if everything is going fine, you’ll manage to convince yourself that you’re falling behind; even if you’re exactly where you need to be, you’ll start to worry that everyone else is doing better than you are. It could be easy right now to make reckless moves in an attempt to “catch up,” but try to resist the impulse. This isn’t the time to suddenly change all your plans; at the very least, wait a bit, because things will likely feel different tomorrow.

You try not to make your bad feelings everyone else’s problem; when you’re angry or stressed or just irritable, you consider it your responsibility to work through things on your own, as much as possible. Today, though, holding everything inside will only make you feel worse — what you need right now is to let off some steam. If there’s someone in your life you can trust to simply listen to you, without judging and without trying to solve all your problems, you’ll feel much better if you can let yourself vent.

Even if you’re usually the sort of person who processes everything out loud, things will probably go better for you today if you take some extra time to think before you speak up. It’s not that you need to bottle everything up, or that talking with your friends won’t be helpful, it’s just that doing some personal reflection first will make your conversations much more meaningful. Otherwise, it’ll be all too easy to let other people drive the conversation, to waste your time arguing about minor issues and never getting to the ones that matter.

Today, you could feel torn between doing things the same way you always have — and dealing with the same frustrations as usual — and trying something totally new, taking a chance on the unknown. Both sides have their pros and cons, and every time you think you’ve settled on a decision, you’ll start second guessing yourself. Today, don’t rush yourself to make a final decision. For now, the best thing you can do is focus on understanding your options clearly; there’s no need to settle just yet.

If you get the sense that anyone is trying to push you around, today, you’ll probably be quick to push back. You have no patience left for arrogant or domineering people, and you want them to know it. Standing up for yourself is a good thing, just remember that how you do it matters. You don’t need to react loudly or dramatically to make your point; right now, being calm but unwavering is the best way to make your point, and to make others back off.

You might get a bit antsy today — everything in your life suddenly seems boring, even the parts you usually enjoy the most. Stepping outside of your usual routines will probably help; spending time in different places, with new people, will make the world feel big and exciting again. Just try not to make any consequential or lasting decisions motivated solely by boredom. Small changes will likely be enough to shake you out of your rut, and if you need something more, you’ll be glad you took more time to think things over.

If there’s a difficult conversation you’ve been avoiding lately, today you might finally feel ready to dive in. You’re tired of walking on eggshells; you’d rather just get into things, no matter how uncomfortable it gets. But remember that ultimately, it’s a two-way street: Just because you are in the mood to get into potentially contentious subjects, that doesn’t mean other people will be amenable to it. If you want good results, you need to both be in the right mindset, so if someone isn’t ready to talk, the best thing you can do might be to wait a bit longer.

Today, it could seem like every time you open your mouth, others are quick to contradict you. It hardly matters what you’re saying, or whether you’re right or wrong — people will take issue with it anyway. Arguing with them will probably prove to be a waste of your energy: There are some days when nothing you can say will get through. It’s incredibly annoying, but it isn’t your fault; try to avoid lashing out, if you can, and remember that it’s probably not about you at all.

If you want to get anything done at all, today, you’ll have to figure out how to get along with people who do things differently than you do. You may have strong preferences for how you think that the work should be done, strong opinions about how you think people should organize their time, but ultimately, you can’t control anyone’s behavior but your own, and if you’re too rigid about your own opinions, you’ll only end up driving others away. Stay firm on your overarching values, but be flexible on the small stuff.

In general, you’re not averse to acting spontaneously, but sometimes, you just want to be able to rely on the plans you’ve already made; you don’t want to have to adapt on the fly. Today, though, you might not have as much control over the situation as you’d like — the situation will demand that you make some adjustments, and the more you resist, the more stressful it’ll ultimately get. The more you can let go and be flexible, the happier you’ll be right now.
