There are long delays on the M25 this morning (Tuesday, June 23) following an incident at around 6.45am. One lane remains closed on the anticlockwise carriageway near Waltham Abbey just after junction 26.
All traffic was reportedly stopped for around 15 minutes before 7am. Traffic cameras on the M25 show that Highways and police officers were at the scene of an incident, and had coned off lane four of the motorway.
Traffic reports suggest that queuing or slow-moving traffic stretches halfway back to the Brook Street Roundabout (junction 28) with the A12.
