Kate Cassidy, the partner of the late Liam Payne, revealed she was dumped by a man after she compared him to the One Direction singer.
Cassidy, 27, just started dating again after Payne’s death in October 2024 and explained how challenging this new chapter of life has been to her almost two million TikTok followers.

“I got dumped you guys,” Cassidy said in the clip.
“Dating after losing somebody that you genuinely thought you were going to spend the rest of your life with is really tough because I physically look for Liam in every single guy that I meet,” she admitted.
“There were certain times where I would get so angry with this guy, because I would be like, ‘Liam would do this, so why aren’t you doing this?’ Or he would do something and I’d be like, ‘Liam would never do that, why are you doing that?’”
“He texted me yesterday and told me we should go our separate ways because it’s just too much, and I understand.”

It was revealed just this week that the Payne’s son Bear, nine, who he shared with singer ex Cheryl Tweedy, will inherit his father’s entire £21.9 million ($41 million) fortune following his death.
In October, Cassidy made headlines when she was involved in a Lamborghini car crash. It’s believed her friend was driving at the time.
Payne died at the age of 31 in Buenos Aires, Argentina in October 2024 after falling from a hotel balcony.
Cassidy marked the anniversary of his death by sharing a black-and-white image of the pair together.
“Today marks a full year without you here. I will forever hate goodbyes. I miss you Liam,” she captioned it.
