George Kittle reveals one rule for Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce wedding

Taylor Swift joins Lainey Wilson at Tight End University performance
Taylor Swift surprised audiences at Tight End University and performed her hit single “Love Story” with Lainey Wilson.
We may not know when exactly Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are tying the knot, but we do know one of the rules they have for their wedding guests, thanks to Kelce’s mate.
San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle revealed the soon-to-be-married couple has told guests not to bring any gifts, adding he plans on disobeying.
“They said absolutely no gifts,” Kittle told ExtraTV at the Tight Ends and Friends Concert in Nashville on Tuesday, June 23. “But I was thinking, Travis, for some reason, really likes old coins, so I might get him an old coin.”
“Sounds expensive, too,” he joked.
Confirming his attendance, Kittle, 32, added he hopes Kelce, 36, and Swift, 36, “have so much fun with all of the events.”
Engaged in August 2025, there is speculation the two could get married on Fourth of July weekend, per the Nashville Tennessean, part of the USA TODAY Network.
It’s a ‘Love Story’ at TEU
Swift returned to Tight End University (TEU) with fiancé and TEU co-founder Kelce as the annual football summit kicked off in Nashville on June 22. Photos shared by the organization showed Swift in a yellow Simkhai Lydia Jacquard mini dress that retails for $495, paired with matching yellow heels at the welcome reception.
The “I Knew It, I Knew You” singer also gave a surprise performance for the second year in a row, joining Lainey Wilson on stage for “Love Story” as players and paying fans attended the annual “Tight Ends and Friends” concert following the day’s practice. The fundraising concert featured an impressive lineup including Wilson, Chase Rice, Hardy, Dan + Shay and Jon Pardi.
“Will y’all give it up for my friend Lainey Wilson?” Swift said before breaking out into “Love Story.” “It was a special request from a particular tight end, and that tight end is George Kittle.”
Kittle, at the opening night, told People magazine he was grateful that Swift made time to attend amid her wedding plans.
“She’s just such an awesome person to give us her time this close to their wedding,” he said. “So we’re just so thankful that they’re here.”
When are Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce getting married?
The “I Know Places” singer and her fiancé have not confirmed the date of their nuptials.
Initially, fans suspected June 13 would be the perfect day for the star, believing that a summer Saturday on her favorite number 13 was kismet. But when a wedding planner debunked the idea that festivities at Ocean House, the hotel near Swift’s Rhode Island estate, were for the Grammy winner and NFL superstar, speculation shifted to July 3 in New York.
However, details of the wedding are still tightly under wraps.
Where will the wedding be?
Reports from TMZ and the New York Post have linked the couple’s celebration to Madison Square Garden, though neither Swift nor Kelce has publicly commented.
