The Orlando Magic (via Washington Wizards) have officially selected Izaiyah Nelson with the No. 51 pick in the 2026 NBA draft.
Nelson earned extra attention after going for 22 points, nine boards and three blocks against Louisville in the NCAA tournament. He capitalized on the pre-draft process, standing out at the Portsmouth Invitational and then earning an invite to the NBA Combine.
While Nelson’s offensive limitations are evident, his defensive upside has become enticing enough for scouts to envision him as a specialist.
