League One 2026/27 season fixtures, dates, schedule & how to watch

Leicester City will start their first season in Sky Bet League One since 2008/09 with a trip to Notts County, live on Sky Sports.
Every game on the opening day of August 15 will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.
The former Premier League champions suffered back-to-back relegations to drop into the third tier for only the second time in their 142-year history.

Also at 12.30pm is another meeting between relegated and promoted teams as Oxford host MK Dons at the Kassam Stadium, while Reading welcome Luton to the Select Car Leasing Stadium.
At 3pm, League Two champions Bromley begin their first season in the third tier with a trip to Barnsley, Cambridge return with the visit of Wigan and Sheffield Wednesday start their new chapter – after a miserable season on and off the pitch last term – by visiting Leyton Orient.
Beaten League One play-off finalists Stockport travel to Plymouth.

Your club’s League One fixture list for 2026/27
How many of my EFL team’s fixtures will be live on Sky?
Every Championship, League One and League Two team will be featured live on Sky more than 20 times in the 2026/27 season.
The EFL is at the heart of Sky Sports+ coverage and will see over 1,000 games from 1,891 matches across the EFL, Carabao Cup and EFL Trophy broadcast live throughout the season.
When will the rest of the fixture times be confirmed?
- By July 2, selections will be announced in respect of all live broadcast matches to be played before the end of September.
- By July 31 selections will be confirmed in respect of all live broadcast matches to be played up to, and including, the weekend of January 8-11 2027.
- By November 6, selections shall be announced in respect of all matches to be played up to, and including, the midweek of March 2-3 2027.
- Selections for matches scheduled for the weekend of March 5-8 2027 will be announced by February 5 2027, followed by weekly announcements looking four-weeks ahead. For example, the weekend of March 12-15 2027 will be announced by Friday February 12 2027.
- Selections for matches scheduled for the penultimate weekend of the regular season will be announced three weeks in advance.
- Selections for matches scheduled for the final weekend of the regular season will be announced the week prior.
