Iva Jovic has arrived at Wimbledon 2026, securing her first main draw victory at the Championships on Monday (29 June).
The USA 16th seed, who was a qualifier at last year’s edition, defeated Romania’s Jacqueline Cristian 7-6(1), 6-0 to advance to the second round at the All England Club.
After an opening set with zero breaks, Jovic sealed an impressive bagel set scoreline to clinch her spot in the next round in just under an hour-and-a-half.
