Over the last couple of weeks some of the biggest names in music have performed in the Welsh capital. Take That, The Cure, Teddy Swims and Metallica have all been part of this year’s massive summer concert line-up which has taken place across Cardiff venues since the middle of June.
The atmosphere in the city has been electric as it fills with music fans enjoying the festivities. However, those commuting through Cardiff may be less enthused about the long string of gigs taking place in the city. These events have seen a long list of road closures throughout the centre of the city, which has led to diversions and queues of traffic.
Thousands of fans will soon be flocking to the city to watch the next big gigs, which will be Katy Perry at Cardiff Castle on Tuesday, June 30, and Lewis Capaldi at Blackweir Live on Tuesday, June 30 and Wednesday, July 1.
