Daily Mail Stole Thousands of Instagram Photos, Lawsuit Says

The Daily Mail has built and monetized its news platforms by systematically copying thousands of photos from social media accounts and providing false copyright credit, a photographer alleged in a proposed class action lawsuit filed Tuesday.

Matthew Moore claims the Daily Mail clears no rights before publishing the lifted photos and hides its pilfering by stamping a knowingly-false credit to social media platforms including Instagram.
