16:44 CET – Just like Marta Kostyuk, Flavio Cobolli is enjoying a dream run at the Grand Slams! Fresh off reaching the French Open final, the Italian has now got to back-to-back Wimbledon quarter-finals, defeating Alex de Minaur, 7-5, 7-6(4), 6-3.

15:47 CET – Elise Mertens is into the first Wimbledon quarter-final of her career, and her fourth overall at Grand Slams, with a 6-4, 6-4 victory over the in-form Marie Bouzkova.

After defeating second seed Elena Rybakina in the last round, Mertens was in control of the contest against her Czech opponent, hitting 24 winners and 23 unforced errors.

13:33 CET – What a fabulous few months Marta Kostyuk is enjoying, with the Ukrainian moving into her first Wimbledon quarter-final after a 6-4, 6-4 win over Ashlyn Krueger.

Coming off the back of winning the Madrid title and reaching the Roland Garros semi-final, Kostyuk continues to go from strength to strength. She was far too good for an erratic Krueger, who hit 29 unforced errors.

A real opportunity has now presented itself for the 24-year-old, and she will face the winner of Alexandra Eala vs Jasmine Paolini in the last eight.

12:04 CET – The first match of the day is set to get underway with Marta Kostyuk and Ashlyn Krueger out on No. 2 court.

09:00 CET: Good morning and welcome to the second week at Wimbledon and a fascinating day of last 16 action. After a hard-fought win against Emma Navarro in the third round, the in-form French Open semi-finalist Marta Kostyuk will hope to continue building into this year’s Wimbledon when she faces another American opponent, qualifier Ashlyn Krueger.

That is followed by possibly the clash of the day as fifth seed Alex de Minaur faces ninth seed Flavio Cobolli on Centre Court. De Minaur will be the heavy favourite considering Cobolli’s fitness concerns and the fact that the Italian was forced to win in five sets in the last round, whilst De Minaur has only dropped one set all tournament.

Then later in the day, more big names such as Taylor Fritz, Alexander Zverev, Jasmine Paolini and Madison Keys.
