Publix recalls blueberries after multiple people reportedly became severely sick with E. coli. Here are the impacted states

(Gray News) – Frozen blueberries sold at Publix were recalled after they were connected to multiple E. coli cases.
On July 3, Publix said that Chilean company Frutas y Hortalizas del Sur S.A. initiated the recall of 10-ounce bags of frozen GreenWise Organic IQF Blueberries, according to a press release.
The recall announcement explained that between May 11 and June 5 there had been 12 confirmed E. coli cases.
The blueberries were shipped to Publix stores in Alabama, Kentucky, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
The affected products have a lot code of 60401 and a best-by date of Feb. 9, 2028.
Those infected with E. coli can experience severe stomach cramps, diarrhea and vomiting, among other symptoms.
Publix urges customers to check their freezers and to return or throw away any frozen GreenWise blueberry products with a purchase date of July 3 or earlier.
