Jake Bennett will get the start Wednesday. The rookie lefthander is coming off the longest start of his career after allowing just two runs in 7⅔ innings in last Friday’s 5-2 win over the Angels. That surpassed the 6⅓ innings he tossed in his previous outing, June 27 against the Yankees, which had edged his six innings in the game before that, June 22 at the Rockies.

The White Sox will counter with righthander Davis Martin, whose nine wins are tops on the club. Chicago has a one-game edge on Cleveland at the top of the AL Central.
