FORECAST

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Flash flooding is a concern with today’s rainfall. Scattered showers and thunderstorms remain possible from this morning into the afternoon.

Highs will rise into the low 80s between the rounds of rain. Additional rounds of scattered storms will rotate through overnight, packing more heavy rain and gusty winds; flash flooding continues to be a threat.

Lows slide into the 60s and low 70s overnight. Widespread heavy rainfall exits the region Saturday morning, leaving behind scattered storms for the rest of the day as a cold front approaches. Heavy rainfall and gusty winds are once again threats.

Highs max out in the upper 70s and low 80s tomorrow. Scattered showers and thunderstorms remain possible Saturday night as lows fall into the 60s and low 70s; the rain will be heavy at times.

While scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible to end the weekend, storm chances shift south as Sunday wears on. Highs return to the low 80s on Sunday.
