Now that a full week has passed since Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding, there’s one thing everyone wants to know: How was it? We’ve gotten a few tidbits from the tabloids — Paul McCartney sang “I Want to Hold Your Hand”; someone won a Chanel handbag in a raffle; pasta was served out of a Parmesan wheel — but that all pales in comparison to first-person accounts from actual guests. Lucky for us, the other Kelces have started talking about the wedding, offering the kind of insights that only a family member could.
While golfing at the American Century Championship in Nevada on Thursday, Jason Kelce offered his take on the nuptials. “It was a good time,” he told a fan, per the New York Post. Later, he got even more effusive, telling an autograph seeker that it was “great.” The former NFL star was also asked if he drank more or less than 15 beers at the wedding, to which he replied, “Way over.”
Later in the day, Kylie Kelce also spilled the beans. In a video captured by People, the podcast host said that the wedding was “incredible,” after she took a selfie with a fan.
That’s probably all we’re learning until New Heights returns with a wedding-recap episode or we get a sister-in-law sit-down on Not Gonna Lie, but there’s more here than you might think. If your husband consumed more than a gallon of beer (using a standard 12-ounce can as the unit of measurement) and you still had an “incredible” time at the function, that’s how I know it was lit for real.
What did the other Kelces think of the wedding? Well, in an Instagram video for Macy’s, Donna Kelce said that it was “magical.” We’re still waiting on a review from Ed Kelce, who is historically the chattiest member of the family. I bet it’s one more week before he gives us a super-detailed account of which A-listers got the most drunk.
