Britney Spears puts on a wild show in LA traffic — months after DUI arrest

Britney Spears was spotted standing through the moonroof of a vehicle as it made its way through traffic in Los Angeles on Thursday — just months after her DUI arrest.
In photos, the “Oops I Did it Again” songstress was seen standing tall above traffic while riding in a black Mercedes SUV on the 101 Freeway near Studio City.
The Grammy winner had been traveling from her home in nearby Thousand Oaks.

Spears threw her head back passionately and stretched her arms across the roof of the vehicle as the traffic continued, with the vehicles moving around 45 mph at the time.
Per photos of the singer, she wore a print mini sun dress and whipped her hair around during the mid-day traffic spectacle.
Eyewitnesses told the Daily Mail on Friday that the “Toxic” songstress, 44, was standing through the moonroof for approximately two minutes before the Mercedes exited the freeway.

Spears was spotted chatting and laughing with the male driver — who wore a white cowboy hat — after they pulled the vehicle into a gas station, where she was photographed browsing inside the convenience store.
A source told the Daily Mail that, “Britney just went through the sunroof for a quick moment, she wanted to see what the traffic was about up ahead because the cars came to a stop.”
They added that the pop superstar “wanted to see how long they would be delayed” in traffic.

“She used to do this all the time as a kid growing up in the South, she loves having the warm wind blow through her hair in the summer, it’s fun,” they explained to the outlet.
“She is having a fun summer and is happy, she is in a good place. If it’s illegal to put your head through a sunroof, she doesn’t know it! She didn’t mean to do anything bad.”
The shocking stunt comes several months after Spears was arrested for DUI in March in Ventura County, California.
In footage from the incident, Spears failed a sobriety test before being cuffed and placed into the back of a police vehicle during the March 4 arrest.

Following the incident in April, an insider told Page Six that the “Crossroads” actress was “doing really well” after a less than a month in rehab.
“She’s healthy and happy and feeling very positive and excited to start afresh. Rehab was a great opportunity for her to ground herself,” the source divulged at the time.
Another source shared that she would be “continuing counseling remotely.”
The singer ultimately pleaded guilty to a lesser “wet reckless” charge in May and avoided jail time.
