A man wanted on warrants was spotted by an off-duty police officer at a Prince Albert restaurant and found with $1,000 in his pants pocket.
A zip-lock bag he was observed tossing under a table prior to his arrest was found to contain 70 grams of cocaine.
Those were the details shared in a Prince Albert courtroom on Friday at Marcus Morin’s sentencing hearing. Guilty pleas were entered to trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime, for which he received 15 months in jail.
The arrest occurred last November.
