United States Champion Trick Williams is a huge star, so Lil Yachty unveiled his own special legacy fur edition of the United States championship on tonight’s (July 10) episode of SmackDown. Check it out for yourself.
Trick went on to fight Carmelo Hayes in a non-title match, and I assumed Carmelo would win to set up a future title match. I was proven wrong when Baron Corbin made his surprise return to WWE to ruin the ending and destroy both men with his End of Days finishing move.
This wasn’t a cool, new version of Baron Corbin, or some crazy Danhausen mutant version of the man. It was just plain ass Baron Corbin doing his typical heel things and taking out two stars who WWE fans like to root for.
