MANITOWOC – One lucky Manitowoc man won nearly $4 million in the Wisconsin Lottery.
Rudolph Baumann won the $3.8 million Megabucks jackpot from the June 24 drawing. He claimed his prize at the Wisconsin Lottery office in Madison a week ago.
Baumann’s win is the largest Wisconsin Lotter prize awarded this year. The winning numbers were 1-8-12-24-26-27.
Where the winning Megabucks ticket was sold
The Manitowoc man purchased his winning ticket from a Kwik Trip at 750 E. Green Bay Ave. in Saukville.
Wisconsin Lottery retailers that sell winning tickets of more than $599 receive a 2% Retailer Performance Winning Ticket incentive of up to $100,000.
The Saukville Kwik Trip win is the second Megabucks jackpot won in 2026. The first time came on Jan. 28 when a player purchased a winning $1.5 million ticket from a Millgate General Store in Burlington.
What to know about Wisconsin Megabucks
Not to be confused with the multi-jurisdictional game Mega Millions, Megabucks is offered only in Wisconsin and is one of the longest-running lottery games in the Badger State.
Megabucks players can purchase two plays for $1. The odds of winning the jackpot are about one in 7 million. Megabucks has drawings on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Tickets must be purchased before 9 a.m. the day of the drawing to be included in the day’s drawing.
