Prediction, pick for Damian Pinas vs. Cesar Almeida at UFC 329

One of the most impressive young prospects on this card is Damian Pinas, who takes on Cesar Almeida on the UFC 329 Early Prelims. At 24, Pinas has a 9-1 record with nine finishes and recently won his UFC debut against Wes Schultz. Almeida is 3-2 in his five UFC fights and is coming off a loss to Cezary Oleksiejczuk in December 2025.

Check out my best bet below for Damian Pinas vs. Cesar Almeida at UFC 329.

Almeida was formerly a kickboxer, competing against former UFC Champion Alex Pereira. Now Almeida trains with Pereira at Teixeira MMA & Fitness. He started his MMA career 5-0 but then went 2-2 over his previous four UFC contests. His last win was a first-round knockout against Abdul Razak Alhassan in January 2025.

Pinas is originally from Aruba but now trains in Brazil at Nova União, which was also the gym of former UFC Champion Jose Aldo. In March 2024, Pinas suffered his first loss due to an illegal kick. Since then, he has scored five consecutive knockouts, with four of them coming in the first round.

Although both fighters are 6’1″, Pinas has a big five-inch reach advantage (79″ vs. 74″). In this contest, Pinas is the favorite at -258, with Almeida the +210 underdog on DraftKings Sportsbook. Pinas’ aggressiveness and quick pace make it extremely hard for opponents to keep up with. With that said, I think Pinas continues his knockout streak against Almeida. You can get Pinas to win by knockout at -115.
