Body found in search for missing Ferndown man

The body of 78-year-old Graham, who was also known as Will, has been recovered, after he was reported missing over two weeks ago.

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “Officers searching for missing man Graham in Ferndown have very sadly found a body.

“Graham, aged 78, was reported as missing having last been seen on the morning of Friday 26 June 2026.

“Officers have been carrying out extensive searches over the past two weeks, with assistance from Dorset Search and Rescue (DorSAR) and supported by the local community and Graham’s family.”

It was reported at around 3pm on Friday July 10, that the body of a man had been found in the area of Badger’s Walk, Ferndown.

Police have said that the body is believed to be that of Graham and his family has been informed.

The death is not being treated as suspicious.

Superintendent Claire Phillips, of Dorset Police, said: “Our thoughts are very much with Graham’s family and loved ones at this extremely difficult time.

“I want to thank all those involved in our search efforts to find Graham over recent days as well as the family and members of the local community for the support they have given during this period.”
