And this is the end of the first half of the season. I had someone argue with me about the first half thing. But I don’t make the rules, baseball says everything before the All-Star break is the first half, everything after is the second half. This is game 96 and the end of the first half.
Oh, and there is some news: Chad Dallas has been optioned to Buffalo. CJ Van Eyk is up to take his spot. He has a 3.79 ERA in 78.1 innings with 25 walks and 56 strikeouts at Buffalo.
